Gender Budgeting in Nigeria 2012-2015: Working with parliament and civil society to improve the lives of women and girls

This programme is designed to support women Members of Parliament (MPs) in the National Assembly of Nigeria, where they comprise just 9% of members. Jointly funded by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and Department for International Development (DFID), the programme also works with civil society and Nigeria's National Institute for Legislative Studies (NILS).
